The Atomic Backland 86 Sl W is an incredibly lightweight and highly versatile ski mountaineering ski designed for women who are attracted to mountaineering, the Atomic Backland 86 W SL is built with superlight SL fibreglass, Ultra Light Woodcore construction and Carbon Backbone to reduce overall weight for efficient climbing. The result of this combination of materials is a super-light ski that excels in every aspect of backcountry skiing. The overall weight of this ski lies between that of UL Backland skis and regular Backland skis. Specifically shaped under the foot to ease the stride during the ascent, especially on longer routes, the All Mountain Rocker profile and HRZN technology in the tip allow the ski to float in deep snow. The notch in the tip allows Atomic's Pre-Fit skins to be inserted quickly.
