The Atomic Backland 95 is a ski mountaineering ski built to strike the perfect balance between light weight and efficiency on the ascent, while ensuring ample stability underfoot to keep you hurtling down the slopes you've been admiring on the way up. Reinterpreting the structure of the original Backland, this new ski reduces CO2 emissions by 30%, with the use of locally sourced poplar wood, less use of resin and fibreglass, and environmentally friendly sidewalls. The result is a low-impact design that creates a lighter and more powerful ski with more intense performance. The All-Terrain profile uses natural wood and fibreglass in new proportions to modify the ski's thickness curve and add torsional rigidity, improving climbing and optimising downhill performance on the hardest snow surfaces. HRZN 3D, the next generation of the original HRZN Tech, features a unique three-dimensional beveled tip that improves flotation in powder and handling in variable snow conditions.
