The Atomic Backland series has always been dedicated to quality, affordable ski mountaineering equipment for every skier, and the Backland helmet is just that. It's safety, comfort and performance in perfect balance: the helmet has a Full Cap Ski liner and a breathable Skimo liner that protects from winter to late summer (the helmet is also multi-standard, certified for skiing, climbing and cycling). The Holocore and AMID (Atomic Multi-directional Impact Deflector) systems offer 40% more impact protection than industry safety standards. Then the Hybrid EPP In-Mold construction is strong, light and extremely safe, with polycarbonate microgranules added for structural reinforcement without adding bulk. And like all Backland helmets, it comes with small details that make a big difference such as the light attachment, removable strap station and reflective elements.
