BD Black Diamond M Down Patrol Pant are men's ski touring pants.
Made with a four-way stretch nylon, they are comfortable and do not restrict movement either uphill or downhill. They are built with a soft shell that gives good thermal capacity on the descent but controlling it on the ascent.
There are also hinges to regulate the internal temperature especially in the phases that require greater effort.
At the bottom of the leg, then, there is a zipper with an internal gaiter that adapts perfectly to the boot and also reinforcements on the fabric to protect the pants from the edges of the skis and the tips of the crampons.
The detachable shoulder straps then ensure you a secure fit.
Finally, these pants in addition to the DWR treatment for water repellency, have two layers of BDdry membrane that gives them 20,000 mm of water column: they are therefore completely waterproof!
