Black Diamonds Onsight is a headlamp developed for climbers who want to climb after dark.
The configuration provides two lighting modes: The main mode has been optimised to illuminate holds or the path directly in front of you, with 300 lumens of diffuse and uniform light that does not dazzle when you are searching for the next belay point or small foothold. The secondary Route-Finder mode adds a powerful, narrow beam for long distances and increases the total maximum output to 375 lumens, allowing you to locate anchorages or search for trails in the distance.
We have added dual PowerTap™ technology to easily switch between Climbing and Route-Finder modes by touching both the left and right sides of the front housing.
For maximum flexibility, Onsight is Dual-Fuel compatible and can be powered by our BD 1800 lithium-ion rechargeable battery or three standard AAA batteries. The front housing is ultra-slim and features an extra articulation that allows you to move closer to the wall and still see everything you need to see around you.
Finally, with the highest waterproof rating of IP67, this lamp is fully submersible and dustproof, which means it is completely sealed and will not give you any problems if you find yourself in the rain.
