The Black Diamond Quickdraw Carbon Probe 240 is Black Diamond's lightest avalanche probe, lightweight yet without sacrificing any of the features that make Black Diamond probes extremely fast and easy to use. Equipped with CordLock technology, the Carbon Probe 240 uses a wiregate locking mechanism to secure the probe without the use of a bag, creating a faster rescue system thanks to a quicker and more streamlined deployment with an upgraded Kevlar lanyard pull, which also saves weight. This probe also features a slightly oversized tip to reduce rod friction and ensure a more precise feel during exploration.
