The Black Diamond Sprinter 500 is a headlamp designed to cope with everything from early morning city runs to night-time mountain adventures.
Ultra-thin and well balanced, the Sprinter 500 now offers almost double the lumen output of previous versions, emitting 500 lumens at the brightest light setting. To offer maximum power flexibility for runners on the move, the Sprinter is Dual-Fuel compatible and can be powered by either our BD 1800 lithium-ion rechargeable battery, included at the time of purchase, or three AAA alkaline batteries.
The single front lens has an extremely homogenous universal beam that minimises hot spots and eliminates rough transitions on the trail. It includes our intuitive single-button interface for easy on/off switching, PowerTap™ technology for quick on-the-fly brightness adjustment and variable dimming for fine-tuning brightness. The Sprinter features a lightweight perforated elastic headband for breathability, and the top strap can be quickly added or removed according to user preference.
With reflective logos and a red rear flasher, it will help keep you visible on the road and on the trail. The Sprinter 500 headlamp is the ideal solution for runners who start early in the morning or for those who continue running after dark.
