Beal Opera 8.5 mm is a single rope certified also as half and twin. Ultra-light, fluid and versatile, it is recommended for expert climbers when used as a single.
This product contains the most important Beal branded technologies. It is, in fact, equipped with Unicore technology that welds the soul and the sock together. This ensures that the two components remain together in the event of a tear.
Golden Dry is a waterproofing treatment applied to the jersey and core of the rope to make it more resistant to moisture, abrasion and dust. It performs well on snow and high-level routes.
In addition, the Beal Opera benefits from Thermo Fluid, an infrared treatment that stabilizes the fibers of the sock making the rope more compact and manageable.
