Description
Dedicated, durable, and designed for ice climbing, mixed ascents, and expeditions in extreme cold conditions, the Black Diamond Mission backpack is our most robust alpine pack. Made with the new BD X-rip 420d fabric with UTS™ coating, it is now ultra-durable to withstand the challenges of the mountain season after season. This backpack also offers balanced carrying thanks to the SwingArm shoulder straps, fully removable hip belt, lid, and back panel. The new metal dogbone attachment for ice tools ensures a secure attachment for technical and mountaineering ice axes, while a front pocket for crampons and a stowable rope strap allow for securing gear on the outside. Finally, a drawstring skirt provides additional protection against snow and light precipitation.
