CAMP Druid Pro is a self-locking work descender designed for semi-static ropes with a diameter between 10 and 11 mm, intended for expert users or work on inclined surfaces.
The device is light and compact, with body and lever in forged aluminum alloy and mechanical parts in precision cast stainless steel.
Unlike the CAMP Druid (click here to view the product), the Druid Pro does not have an anti-panic locking function but the cam is made up of a sliding surface that allows progressive friction.
In the event of a fall or blockage, the stresses on the safety chain, anchors, rope and operator, are less and reduced by 40% compared to traditional systems.
Druid Pro is certified both as a descender and as an insurer and numerous certifications are obtained:
- EN 12841 / C as a work descender for people up to 120 kg, usable in rescue maneuvers up to 200 kg;
- EN 341 / 2A as emergency descender on single rope, for people up to 120 kg and semi-static 11 mm rope;
- EN 15151-1 for use in progression from below with mountaineering technique through dynamic ropes from 9.9 to 11 mm.
Druid Pro is also effective on ascents thanks to the easy sliding and recovery of the rope.
