CAMP Skimo Race automatic crampons
The automatic ski mountaineering crampon Camp Skimo Race is ideal for those seeking lightness and speed, an ambitious crampon designed for ski mountaineering races and high-level competitions.
The crampon is made of aluminum, making it very lightweight yet also very durable and easy to put on and take off. Every little detail is designed to make the crampon your strength to face new adventures.
The lacing system is simple and easy with an innovative adjustable T-Stop front lock, allowing the crampon to fit any ski mountaineering boot with a front notch. Instead, you will find an adjustable heel piece at the back in place of the lock, which can be set to three positions.
Skimo Race also adapts to boots without a front notch: you just need to replace the T-Stop front lock with a front hook, available separately and optional (click here to view the product).
The connecting bar has a double row of holes and can be adjusted very precisely to ensure that even half sizes fit.
If you want an even lighter crampon, you can replace the bar with a Dyneema strap, available separately (click here to view the product). The latter also allows you to compact the crampon by folding it onto itself.
Skimo Race comes supplied with antibott, a set of keys for adjusting the front lock and bar, and a case.
