Cierre Edizioni L’Alta Via degli Altipiani is a trekking guide that will allow you to traverse a route that crosses the highest northern peaks of the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni.
The trekking, divided into four itineraries (one itinerary per day), takes place in a karst landscape through challenging, yet never difficult, paths, ensuring stunning views and panoramas (the Brenta Group, the Adamello, the Lagorai chain, the Marmolada, the Pale di San Martino, the lagoon of Venice).
The entire route takes place in borderland (now a region, between Veneto and Trentino, once a state: between Italy and Austria, between the Republic of Venice and the Habsburg Empire, etc.), where disputes, reprisals, and wars have been anything but sporadic events. Walking today on these paths allows you to connect with nature, savor the charm of a wonderful place, and breathe in the history of these mountains.
The recommended route, supported by a detailed description and reference maps, which also indicate rest points, bivouacs, and shelters, will allow you to follow the itinerary as suggested by the guide, or to customize it based on your abilities and the time available.
