The Dalbello Quantum FREE PRO ski mountaineering boot is the high-end model for all backcountry touring experts who do not want to sacrifice performance and maneuverability both uphill and downhill. As a hybrid, the boot with a flex of 130 combines the best of touring and freeride, excelling on open terrain, providing maximum control during descents and excellent fit for a smooth ascent. The core of the FREE PRO is the redesigned IF Touring PRO liner, which features Dalbello's PuRE (Polyurethane Recycled Enforcement) technology in three parts for more efficient power transmission to the shell, a secure grip on the heel, and exceptional comfort. The full-length lacing system and memory foam tongue adapt to every foot shape to ensure individual fit and a perfect fit. The innovative two-part glued shell structure ensures a reduced overall weight and high stiffness. Combined with the eXtra Dual Link cuff, it provides more direct transmission of control impulses for descents and sufficient freedom of movement for ascents. Additionally, the new elastic gaiter facilitates movement, fitting, and removal, thanks to the quick-release function of the closure strap. The Quantum FREE PRO is equipped with a dual-density Vibram sole, which makes contact with the ground and the binding, combining better grip without loss of power during descents due to two types of rubber of different hardness. Thanks to the new liner made with recycled material and the outer layer free of PU, the boot also stands out in terms of sustainability.
