The upper made of Birko-Flor Nubuk offers the look and feel of original nubuck leather. The inner insole is made of natural leather, recognizable by its untreated surface; BIRKENSTOCK deliberately maintains the grain and typical characteristics of the leather and uses robust leathers with a thickness between 2.8 and 3.2 millimeters. The cork footbed, a sustainable material derived from the bark of the cork oak, is insulating and provides excellent cushioning.
