The Challenger 28 Backpack from La Sportiva is a technical 28-liter backpack designed for climbing, mountaineering, and ski mountaineering in extreme conditions, offering excellent performance for the most demanding climbers. Made from Challenge Sailcloth Ultra 400 and Ultra 200 fabric, this backpack is constructed from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), ensuring unprecedented tear and abrasion resistance while maintaining a lightweight design. Thanks to the roll-top closure system, the capacity can be expanded up to 32 liters, while the main compartment is divided into two sections with a drawstring closure and a dedicated compartment for avalanche gear. Access is facilitated by YKK® water-repellent side zippers that allow quick access to each compartment. Versatility is maximized with the ability to configure the external setup to carry rope, ice axes, and skis, both in diagonal and A-frame modes, in addition to the included helmet holder that can be attached to the daisy chain.
