Deuter aims to create a super lightweight, durable backpack with minimal bulk. Characterized by a tapered profile, it has a narrow and long shape, a true supporting column!
Guide 34 + 8 is made of PES 600 and Mini Rip 330, respectively a 600 denier polyester yarn, coated with a thick layer of PU, and a mixed fabric of 330 denier nylon. These two materials allow the backpack to maintain the lightest possible weight with a medium load and make it resistant to tears and abrasions. The PU coating offers weather resistance up to 2000 mm. Guide 34 + 8 means durability over time!

The anatomical shoulder straps are padded and covered with breathable 3D AirMesh. They come with adjustment straps that you can loosen for greater ventilation and freedom of movement, or tighten for more control and stability.
Removable mat that stabilizes the backrest
The Vari Flex lumbar wings are made of bilaminated foam and are not only movable but also removable: this contributes to optimal load distribution, ensuring you flexibility and comfort. The lumbar wings follow the movements of your body, even the most complex ones. The Austrian company aims to maximize your freedom of movement and energy savings. Removing the lumbar wings does not prevent you from keeping the hip belt in place, which is also removable if desired.
The backrest has two Softstripe pads that provide pleasant ventilation for the back and perfect positioning through an equitable load distribution.
