Dominioni Editore El Camino de Santiago (camino fracès) is the first board game on the famous trekking of the Camino de Santiago. This social game sees 1 to 5 players undertake a journey made up of 31 etapas, the suggestive stages in which they have to face various events, the unpredictable events of the journey.
The peregrinos advance by balancing mental strength and physical resources, in an innovative path game, where the winner is not whoever arrives first but whoever has earned the most spirituality points.
As happens in reality, you will discover that it is not enough to reach the finish line, but it is essential to get there in the best way!
Path
The work proposes all the dynamics of the Camino de Santiago, the itinerary that connects, in almost eight hundred kilometres, the French town of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port to Santiago de Compostela, where the relics of the Apostle St. James the Greater.
The route called Camino Francés is the most famous of the many routes that cross much of Europe. This itinerary, which has put pilgrims from all over the world to the test from the Middle Ages to today, has been declared a world heritage site by UNESCO.
The locations of the Camino Francés have been represented in 32 evocative large-format maps. Players can manage the length of the game from a minimum of 5 stages up to a maximum of 31. In addition, the Santiago Cathedral card, essential to complete the journey and receive the famous compostela.

A 24-page booklet with the rules and a historical-cultural analysis on the Camino de Santiago. The Camino de invierno variant was also considered.
108 cards including: 10 peregrinos cards that facilitate the tactical balance of the participants; 32 etapas to calibrate the length of the match; 66 events, which constitute the beating heart of the fun game mechanics.
5 exclusive colored wooden pawns, representing the positions of the peregrinos on the route.
10 wooden markers that allow each player to manage their own Camino.
A block with many credential cards, to be filled in during the game, on which the players note the progress of their undertaking.
