The Canary Eco Dry 8.8mm by Edelrid is an exclusive dynamic rope with triple certification, ideal for elite climbing and mountaineering where lightness and reliability are essential. With a diameter of only 8.8 mm and a weight of 52 g/m, it ranks as one of the thinnest and lightest single ropes on the market, while boasting superior strength due to a sheath percentage of 47%, making it the most robust in its weight category. This Made in Germany model is certified as a single, half, and twin rope, offering total versatility for any type of mountain challenge. The Eco Dry technology ensures a water-repellent and dirt-resistant finish that is completely free of PFC and PFAS, guaranteeing water absorption of less than 2% in compliance with UIAA standards. The handling is optimized by the Thermo Shield treatment, which harmonizes the core and sheath, while the innovative 3D Lap Coil winding allows for immediate use of the rope without the risk of annoying tangles.
