The Edelweiss Elite 7.8 mm is a climbing half rope designed for all climbers who are looking for a lightweight and high-performance pair of half ropes.
The Unicore treatment makes them soft and strong: sheath and core are joined together to prevent the former slipping on the latter without compromising elasticity.
There is also the Supereverdry treatment, which makes the rope completely waterproof, i.e. both the inner strands and the outer sheath. This makes it more durable: it does not stiffen or swell in damp or wet conditions and absorbs much less dust and dirt.
