Edelweiss Spirit 8.8 mm is a climbing rope with dual approval: you can use it as a single rope at crags but also as a half rope for your multi-pitch routes.
It is extremely light and strong with a durable sheath that has been treated with Supereverdry technology: this is a kind of waterproofing to the sheath and core which ensures that less moisture and dirt is absorbed.
This causes the life of the rope to be extended not a little and it does not stiffen up immediately.
It also has the Unicore patent: sock and core are sewn together and you won't have the problem of the sock slipping on the core once the rope ages. You will notice the rope is very soft indeed!
