Arc'teryx Beta AR is a men's hard shell, a fully waterproof jacket with a Gore-Tex Pro membrane. Arc'teryx shells are very famous and known for their excellent quality and indestructibility: an investment that you will carry on for many and many years.
This garment is part of the Beta line which includes all those products designed specifically for mountain and mountaineering. The acronym AR instead means All Round and therefore versatile for many activities.
The fit is regular, with raised pockets to be compatible with the climbing harness and a longer rear bottom to protect the back from the wind.
The bottom and cuffs of the jacket are adjustable, as well as the hood which is also compatible with the mountaineering helmet.
Coming instead to the main point, Beta AR is made of 3 layers of Gore-Tex Pro and which has been applied the Most Rugged Technology, a new generation super robust fabric able to guarantee absolute waterproofness but at the same time also excellent breathability. .
Finally, Beta AR is equipped with the built-in Recco reflector, which increases your safety in an emergency.
