Evolv Phantom are high-performance climbing shoes designed for those who need a sensitive and technical model to complete their projects!
The upper of the Phantom is made entirely of synthetic and vegan-friendly materials that allow them to maintain their shape and not stretch over time!
On the toe area, there is a large rubber insert that will give you all the grip you need even in the most extreme holds.
This model also integrates the VTR, which is a system that allows the rubber covering the upper along the circumference of the shoe to have variable thickness depending on the specific point! In areas of greater stress, the rubber will be thinner, while in other areas it will be thicker. This way, both your comfort and the durability of the shoe are increased!
Evolv, in collaboration with Daniel Woods, has aimed to create a sensitive shoe that allows the user to tackle technical and difficult walls. For this reason, it has integrated a system of two midsoles that, when combined, make this shoe truly high-performing!
The first is the AVT (Abridged Variable Thickness), a midsole located at the front of the shoe, with variable thickness that tapers as it approaches the toe area, in order to support the foot while increasing sensitivity on small footholds. This technology brings sensitivity to the highest levels in the toe area, where the midsole is cut, allowing you to feel exactly the micro foothold you are loading!
The second midsole integrates with the TPS+ (Tension Power System Plus) tensioning system, which gives the shoe an arched shape that allows it to be precise and transfer all the force to the toe area, even on very overhanging walls. This system also ensures that the shoe maintains an aggressive profile over time, eliminating empty spaces and guaranteeing sensitivity and grip at every point.
The rubber with which the sole is covered is the Trax SAS 4.2mm, the top of the range from Evolv in terms of grip and durability!
The closure system is a single Velcro strap, with 6 adjustable tension points: you will surely find the perfect adjustment for your foot and can quickly put on and take off the shoe!
This is a unisex model, but the sizes are indicated as men's. Therefore, for a woman, it is recommended to go down one and a half sizes from what is indicated. For example, if a woman wears a 9, it is recommended that she purchases a 7.5.
