Ferrino Volta 2 tent
Ferrino Volta 2 is a three-arch tunnel tent specifically designed for backpackers and bikepackers looking for a lightweight, spacious, and highly durable solution. Thanks to its particularly compact size (20 x 44 cm), this tent is extremely easy to pack both inside and outside the backpack, and can be comfortably transported on the handlebars or fork of the bicycle without disturbing the cyclist. One of its main strengths is the large front vestibule, which offers generous and protected space for various activities even in adverse weather conditions, such as cooking, drying clothes, and sheltering all equipment.
The structure relies on high-quality technical materials to ensure total protection in the field. The flysheet is made from silicone-coated 20D Ripstop Nylon with a waterproof rating of 3000 mm W/R, while the floor made from silicone-coated 30D Ripstop Nylon reaches an impressive 8000 mm W/R, supported by a three-layer construction that reinforces the corners of the bathtub. The interior consists of a lightweight Nylon mesh that promotes breathability, while taped seams on both the flysheet and floor perfectly isolate the cabin from water. The poles are made up of three pre-connected duralumin poles (7001 T6 tempered aluminum alloy), chosen for their lightness, elasticity, and strength. Assembly is further facilitated by superlight aluminum stakes and color-coded pole tips.
Livability and ventilation are optimized by dual access with drip protection and front and rear ventilation hoods that ensure constant airflow. Inside there are practical solutions for space organization such as pockets for gear storage, hanging loops, and material loops. Included accessories feature the Fast Adjustment quick tensioning system, repair kit, and video instructions accessible via QRCode. The tent comes with a 100% waterproof carry bag equipped with taped seams and aquastop closure. With a volume of 3 m³, Ferrino Volta 2 has a minimum weight of 2.25 kg and a maximum weight of 2.6 kg, representing the perfect balance between comfort and maximum portability.
