Fixe 7.4 Gavarnie is a climbing half rope that is also approved as a twin rope and is excellent for those who want a light and extremely high-performance rope.
Thanks to its very thin 7.4 mm diameter, in addition to its very low weight (38 g per metre), it is also soft and does not create annoying friction on the rock and the belayer.
You can use it both in summer and winter, so for multi-pitch climbing as well as ice climbing. This is because it has a special treatment called Full Dry, which makes both the outer sock and the inner core completely waterproof.
In addition, another very interesting factor is the Fusion treatment, which extends the life of the rope thanks to the union of sheath and core, thus preventing one from slipping on the other.
