La Sportiva Cobra Eco climbing shoe is the eco friendly version of the famous ballerina in La Sportiva.
This shoe has almost 85% of components made from recycled materials. This is the case of the sole, the tape and the elastic present on the instep.
Other materials are instead considered to have a low environmental impact, in fact a water-based glue and leather with metal-free tanning is used.
Despite this difference in materials used compared to the classic shoes, however, you will not notice the differences in structure. La Sportiva has indeed managed to get a shoe with excellent performance as much as the classic Cobra.
The Cobra Eco has a leather upper that in addition to giving comfort extends its life. Precisely because it is leather, however, the shoe is destined to yield a lot.
The mix is not the same as the other members of the Cobra family but this time we are talking about a Frixion Eco sole made of recycled materials but that, despite this, is ultra adhering especially in indoor grips although slightly stiffer.
