The Air Tech LT Dual-Matic Evo by Grivel is a lightweight 12-point steel crampon designed for classic mountaineering and glacier walks, ideal as a balanced tool for general mountaineering in variable terrain. The classic 12-point steel configuration ensures excellent and stable traction on snow, ice, and mixed conditions, allowing for controlled and safe movement at altitude. Thanks to the exclusive LT construction, the overall weight of the steel frame is significantly reduced by optimizing the material thickness, without compromising the robustness and durability necessary for repeated use. Safety during progression is enhanced by the presence of the proactive Antibott system at the front and rear, a system specifically designed to reduce the dangerous accumulation of snow under the footwear. This specific configuration adopts the Dual-Matic Evo attachment system (referred to as DUAL in the specifications), an extremely versatile mechanism that allows adaptation to both semi-automatic boots (with a notch only on the heel) and automatic boots (with notches on both the toe and heel). The crampon weighs in at 791 grams per pair, fits footwear sizes from 35 to 46, and is fully certified according to CE EN 893 and UIAA 153 standards. Thanks to the integration of the Grivel Crampon System, the structure supports interchangeable components and optional accessories available separately for maximum customization.
