Description
The Trango Pro GTX by La Sportiva is a mountaineering boot developed for the most demanding climbers and mountain professionals seeking maximum safety, precision, and performance on technical and traditional routes in summer conditions. Made with next-generation materials, this boot boasts a 100% Trango Series DNA to ensure unparalleled precision during climbing, while maintaining an extremely low weight of only 640 grams per half pair. The water-repellent upper is constructed from robust high-tenacity Nylon 6,6 and features abrasion-resistant zones with HoneyComb Guard™ technology to withstand impacts against rock. Protecting the foot is the waterproof Gore-Tex Performance Comfort lining, which provides a total barrier against the elements. The entry of debris and snow is blocked by the innovative La Sportiva Vortex™ elastic gaiter, made from water-repellent and abrasion-resistant fabric, equipped with a quick closure system that protects the upper lacing. Comfort and fit are optimized by the new Trango-Ergo shape, designed to adapt and wrap around various foot shapes, working in synergy with the patented 3D Flex System Evo™ joint for natural ankle mobility. Underfoot, the carbon-loaded nylon mounting insole and the shape of the boot are specifically designed to optimize progression with crampons, thanks also to the low-density polyurethane midsole equipped with a TPU insert for rear crampon attachment. The lightweight sole package features a Vibram® Cube Evo outsole made with SpringLug Tech technology, which ensures maximum impact absorption with the ground and unprecedented lightness. This sole has been designed by technicians to maximize vertical performance thanks to a wide Climbing Zone at the toe, while enhancing traction and braking on descents through the patented Impact Brake System™ specific for mountaineering. Fully resoleable to extend its lifespan in an environmentally friendly manner, the Trango Pro GTX also integrates important sustainable elements, such as 100% recycled laces.
