Description
The Ascent 700 by Rab is a wide mummy-shaped down sleeping bag designed to provide warmth and protection during trekking, mountaineering, and camping in extremely cold conditions. Stuffed with 700g of European duck down 650FP treated with Nikwax water-repellent finish without fluorocarbons, this model is ideal for three-season use, ensuring a temperature limit of -9°C even in humid environments. The outer shell made of recycled Pertex® Quantum fabric effectively shields against the wind, while the trapezoidal boxwall construction promotes maximum down loft by eliminating cold spots. The generous fit includes a three-dimensional shaped thermal collar that seals warmth inside and a 3/4 YKK zip with insulated draft tube to prevent heat loss. The model is available in four variants to meet every height and build requirement: the Regular version (1290g), the Long version (1355g) for taller statures, the Wide version (1355g) for those who desire more internal width, and the Long Wide version (1420g) for maximum available volume. Equipped with an internal zip pocket for small items, the Ascent 700 comes with a compression sack for transport and a water-resistant base bag for proper home storage.
