Description
The Prosnow Gaiter by Skylotec is a winter mountaineering and hiking gaiter ideal for tackling icefalls and the most challenging treks with maximum protection. Thanks to its shape specifically designed to fit perfectly on any type of boot, this accessory provides an unbeatable barrier against snow, ice, and mud. The construction is extremely robust, combining a lower part made of 600D ripstop fabric, renowned for its incredible resistance to abrasions and accidental cuts from crampons, with an upper part made of waterproof and breathable fabric to ensure thermal comfort even during intense efforts. Usability is maximized thanks to the front closure that integrates both Velcro and a zipper, supported by snap buttons positioned at the ends and a sturdy hook for direct anchoring to the footwear. To ensure a stable fit, the gaiter uses high-strength synthetic straps with an appropriately protected internal adjustment buckle to prevent unwanted snagging. Every detail is designed for maximum efficiency in mountain environments, as demonstrated by the easily maneuverable elastic cord at the top, allowing for quick adjustments even when wearing gloves.
