Grivel Dark Machine is a technical ice axe that combines the most advanced technologies and materials into a modern tool designed for high performance. Designed for ice climbing, this aggressive technical axe features a G-bone composite carbon handle and a fully carbon grip that ensures lightness while providing extreme toughness and durability. Weighing only 490 grams, its geometry offers a higher balance point, allowing for much better swing. The head is compatible with the VARIO System, an innovative lightweight and modular system for interchangeable blades and accessories: naked, mini-hammer, hammer, and adzes. The VARIO System allows you to choose between different blade construction technologies (hot forged or laser cut) and to execute the best combination to tackle any type of terrain with exceptional performance. This is the version that features the Katana Ice blade, an extremely durable blade made of ballistic steel.
