Grivel Ghost Evo ice axe hammer
Grivel Ghost Evo is an ice axe with a hammer designed for technical mountaineering. A particular feature of this ice axe is its extreme lightness.
This is indeed the most technical version of the ski mountaineering ice axe Ghost. It takes the featherweight of a typical ice axe for ski mountaineering but at the same time is also extremely robust, a characteristic required in technical mountaineering.
To ensure extreme lightness, Ghost Evo features a blade and a tip made of carbon steel while the shaft is made of G-Bone aluminum. This is slightly curved at the top just below the head to facilitate the piolets traction mode while the final part is straight for progression in classic technique.
