Grivel The Dark Machine is a technical ice ax conceived for ice climbing, dry-tooling up to ice-climbing.
The ice ax has an interchangeable head, a G-bone composite carbon handle and a fully carbon handle.
The Dark Machine guarantees you precise penetration into the coldest ice thanks to the Vario blade supplied, interchangeable. A further set of teeth along the upper part of the beak will facilitate you in the most demanding mixed and dry-tooling routes.
The ice ax is compatible with the blades: Ice Vario, Total Ice Vario (click here to view the product), Total Dry Vario.
The handle has been designed to better adapt to the various morphologies of the ice, ergonomic, light and easy to handle, resistant and with a very pronounced curvature, it will facilitate the overcoming of cauliflower bulges or when changing slopes.
