Grivel The Tech Machine with interchangeable Ice Simple Vario blade is an extremely technical ice axe designed for dry tooling and climbing on irregular ice.
The Tech Machine Ice Simple Vario comes with a steel head and interchangeable Vario blade, for extraordinary penetration in ice.
The recommended and compatible blades are Ice Vario, Total Ice Vario, Total Dry Vario.
An additional tooth along the top of the pick will assist you on the most challenging mixed and dry tooling routes.
Grivel creates a rubber and plastic grip designed to allow you various types of holds and to prevent mishaps during delicate maneuvers on the wall.
The aluminum handle has been designed to better fit various ice morphologies, ergonomic and easy to handle, allowing you to easily eliminate the use of a leash. A sturdy handle with a pronounced curve will help you overcome cauliflower bulges or during changes in slope.
