CAMP X-Dream Alpine ice axe and drytooling

The CAMP X-Dream Alpine is the ultimate ice axe for ice climbing and drytooling, lightweight and highly precise! Designed for technical and expert climbers, the iconic X-Dream Alpine features an updated and renewed version. Extremely versatile, it offers four interchangeable blades that allow the axe to be used in various situations. The standard blade is the Ice blade with its hammer. Optimized for ice, it features a tooth pattern not present on the shaft. Available separately and not included with the purchase of this axe, there are also the Mixte blade, the most versatile option that guarantees excellent performance on both ice and rock, the Race blade for placements on rock, and the Total Dry blade for dry tooling. Additionally, the Mixte and Ice blades are compatible with a shovel and a hammer for a more complete axe experience. Another unique feature of this product is the ability to change the angle of the blade and the handle, allowing easy transitions from an Ice configuration, ideal for climbing ice (angles of 48° and 100°), to a Dry setup more suitable for dry tooling and competitions (angles of 60° and 105°). The Ice configuration ensures excellent impact and penetration, while the Dry setup provides greater downward traction, allowing for various positions and a very comfortable grip. The handle is extremely ergonomic and made with high-quality materials that are resistant even at very low temperatures. Two included inserts, the X-Finger, allow for micro-adjustment of the index finger position, and the X-Rest, which allows reducing the shaft length by 5 mm. Thoughtfully designed down to the last detail, it also includes a strap on the handle to improve grip during use. The X-Dream Alpine is the most alpine version of the X-Dream and is perfect for those looking to tackle north faces, goulottes, and mixed routes at high altitude.
