This truly extraordinary and contrasting territory is a remote corner of Italy, nestled in the northernmost point of our nation. It is a characteristic alpine valley characterized on the orographic right side by the impressive rocky wall of the Aurine Alps, which encircle the main valley groove to the north without interruption. In this mountain group, there are numerous peaks over three thousand meters high, culminating in the 3420 meters of the Cima di Campo/Turnerkamp in the Valle di Riobianco.
