Idea Montagna "Mont Blanc Freeride (second edition)" is the Mont Blanc freeride guidebook. Mont Blanc has always been the Italian freeride mecca and every year is the destination of thousands of skiers who base themselves in Courmayeur and Chamonix to fully enjoy the views and measure themselves against the experiences and challenges that this mountain can offer.
The guide aims to be a valid aid for those approaching freeriding around Mont Blanc. The volume describes 48 itineraries, with different degrees of difficulty, in the Courmayeur and Chamonix valleys. In some cases the itineraries are served by ski lifts, in others the use of sealskins is required.
For the first time in a book, the itineraries are also described and photographed from the skier's POV (Point of View) perspective, with the aim of bringing the reader 'into the itinerary' and explaining to him, as far as possible, the environment and the difficulties of the descent he will have to face.
