The Atomic Backland Summit 9 LSH is a complete and versatile alpine touring binding that makes ski touring easy and accessible, perfect for all skiers looking for reliability and ease of use. This binding is brake-free and features a release value adjustment that goes up to 9 (DIN scale 4-9), ensuring safe and reliable operation. The key technology is the AutoFlex System, with a spring in the heel mechanism that offers 5 mm of travel between the toe and heel when turning. This unique system supports the natural flex of the ski, enhancing safety, shock absorption, and downhill performance. The binding is equipped with the patented Easy Step-in Aid that guides the boot into position effortlessly for perfect alignment. For climbing, the Climbing Aid is adjustable to three settings (0 degrees, 7 degrees, or 13 degrees) with a simple touch of the ski pole. The toe and heel with aluminum/PA pins use glass fiber reinforced polyamide, making it lightweight for ascents but durable and reliable for descents.
