Edelrid Performance Static 9.0 mm is a semi-static rope characterized by high abrasion resistance and low elongation, qualities that combine with effective handling. The high-quality kernmantle construction contributes to offering a good quality-price ratio, while the tracer threads inserted in the sheath allow for identifying the rope diameter. The multi-strand core ensures high break resistance, and the Thermo Shield treatment provides a pleasant grip during use.
This is a type Static B rope, certified EN 1891 Type B and made of polyamide. It has a diameter of 9 mm, a weight of 53 g/m, a minimum breaking strength of 23 kN, and a minimum strength of 12 kN with a figure-eight knot. The static elongation is 4.9%, the water shrinkage is 3.10%, and the knotability value is 0.90. The construction consists of a 60% core and a 40% sheath.
