The Siltarp 2 by Rab is a spacious and lightweight technical shelter designed to protect groups of two or three people during fast and light mountain missions. Weighing only 494 grams and with a packed size of 25 cm x 16 cm, this rectangular tarp measuring 2.4 m x 3 m offers a coverage area of 7.5 m², making it ideal as both a nighttime refuge and a dry communal area at base camp. The structure is made from durable 30D siliconized Cordura nylon with a PU coating, an ultralight and waterproof material with a water column of 2000 mm that ensures maximum resilience against the elements. The versatility of setup is guaranteed by 16 external anchor points made of lightweight webbing and a central lifting point, perfect for creating a stable ridge line. To ensure long-lasting durability, Rab has added 300D Cordura reinforcements at all corners and attachment points, completing each grommet with double reinforcement stitching to withstand heavy loads. Easy to pack and quick to set up, the Siltarp 2 comes with its practical compression sack, representing a spacious and highly technical protective solution for anyone looking to reduce the weight of their gear without compromising safety.
