Kong Dhino Alpine ice axe shovel is designed for technical mountaineering "fast and light": a progression on vertical slopes and mixed terrain.
Dhino Alpine is a lightweight ice axe focused on versatility, available in three sizes (50 cm, 55 cm, 60 cm).
It consists of a pick and spike made of galvanized steel and an aluminum handle. The head is a modular monoblock, with the pick and shovel being part of a single block detachable from the handle. The pick is curved and serrated, shaped like a "banana" and with an upward curve: details that optimize the penetration of the spike into vertical walls and icefalls. The pick also features a hole in the head that allows for the attachment of a leash or carabiners.
Dhino Alpine has a curved aluminum handle, galvanized steel spike. The latter facilitates the penetration of the axe into snow or ice. The provided leash helps you not to lose the tool during progression.
