The Cyklon by La Sportiva is a high-performance men's trail running shoe designed for off-road mountain running on technical mid-distance trails. Developed in collaboration with Boa, this outdoor footwear ensures exceptional stability, precision, and a perfect fit thanks to the innovative Dynamic Cage construction with integrated Boa Fit System, which works together with three elements of the upper to securely lock the foot in place and guarantee a safe and precise downhill run. Tension adjustment occurs dynamically and quickly with one hand thanks to the internal flap that wraps around the shoe. The upper is made of breathable and abrasion-resistant mesh fabric with thermoplastic polyurethane reinforcements in critical areas, complemented by a structured multi-layer side panel and a solid protective toe cap. The internal mesh fabric lining offers exceptional wear resistance, while the special tongue system with integrated gaiter ensures a perfect fit between the shoe collar and the ankle, preventing the entry of stones, dirt, or mud during activity. The dual-density Memlex EVA injected midsole absorbs impacts and integrates a stabilizing insert that optimally supports the foot during traverses, keeping the weight low. The ultra-grippy FriXion White rubber outsole with Impact Brake System technology features a tread designed for soft or muddy surfaces, with provisions for mounting ice spikes for winter outings. This footwear boasts a sole thickness of 28 mm in the heel area and 21 mm in the forefoot, offering a 7 mm drop, 6.5 mm deep lugs, and a sustainable 4 mm Ortholite Hybrid Mountain Running ergonomic insole.
