The heart of the system is the internal dynamic flap that wraps around the shoe and allows for tension adjustment with one hand. The upper is made of breathable and abrasion-resistant mesh fabric with thermoplastic polyurethane reinforcements in the most exposed areas, complemented by a multi-layer side panel that provides structure and a protective toe cap. The internal mesh fabric lining boasts high wear resistance, while the exclusive Spyral Tongue Evo tongue with integrated gaiter ensures a perfect fit around the ankle, preventing the entry of stones or mud and smoothly following every movement of the foot. The Memlex EVA dual-density midsole, injection-molded with a stabilizing insert, reduces weight, absorbs shocks, and is ideal for tackling traverses at altitude.
