La Sportiva Ondra Comp are climbing shoes designed primarily for bouldering, the footwear that many of us have been waiting for, developed with the strongest climber in the world, none other than Adam Ondra.
These shoes have indeed been designed to best meet the three main characteristics needed in modern bouldering: adherence for smearing, toe hooks, and more delicate heel hooks.
Their structure is conceived to stretch the foot and thus bring the largest possible surface of the sole into contact with the hold. Important is the SenseGrip technology, an exclusive patent of La Sportiva that, applied to the midsole and the toe cap, enhances the adaptability of the shoe on all surfaces.
The midsole, to avoid too much rigidity, is only present under the toes to ensure precision, support, and sensitivity even on the smallest holds.
