La Sportiva Python Apple Green/Tropic Blue climbing shoes
The La Sportiva Python in the brand new Apple Green/Tropic Blue color, the renewed version of 2019, is the ultimate climbing shoe when we talk about indoor training, bouldering, and competitions.
With the exponential increase in the presence of volumes in our climbing gyms, there is a need for a soft shoe that is very sensitive on the footholds and at the same time has an excellent heel and the ability to securely hook the toe.
La Sportiva has definitely improved this shoe in all these aspects: the heel is covered with ultra-sticky and anti-detachment rubber that allows for extreme heel hooking, the toe is also covered with ultra-sticky rubber but this time with three-dimensional designs increasing grip when we are hooking onto some volume.
As for the fit, it remains super snug thanks also to the heel which, combined with the midsole, allows for perfect wrapping of the arch, the most critical point to fill in climbing shoes.
The rubber compound is the softest one found in Vibram, the Vibram XS Grip 2.
