La Sportiva TC Pro Olive climbing shoes
La Sportiva TC Pro Olive are the new edition of the iconic climbing shoes for mountain routes, improved thanks to the collaboration of Alex Honnold and Tommy Caldwell. In this new version, the balance between protection and performance has been enhanced, making it the best choice for crack climbing, on granite, and on long routes.
One of the features that sets it apart from other models is the high cut of the upper, designed to protect the ankles during crack climbing. In this new edition, the upper is even more comfortable and protective thanks to the eco-leather fabric. Additionally, the weak points have been reinforced by adding a lace protection that not only increases the durability of the shoe but also allows for even better crack placements. The rubber rand that covers part of the upper has also been revised. It is now made from a single piece of rubber that ensures better support and tensioning of the shoe.
Comfort has also been improved thanks to the soft internal padding in the front area and around the ankles. In this new version, the tongue has been redesigned, now thinner and more durable, to further enhance comfort and performance without sacrificing the protection typical of this model.
The P3 tensioning system remains, designed to maintain the structure and performance of the shoe over time. The Vibram XS Edge sole guarantees maximum support even on the smallest and sharpest footholds, without wearing out too quickly.
A nice touch to pay homage to the most iconic ascents made with these shoes: the high part of the upper is embossed with the lines of the Freerider route climbed in free solo by Alex Honnold and The Dawn Wall opened and freed by Tommy Caldwell.
