Description
The TX5 Evo Mid Woman GTX by La Sportiva is a high women's approach shoe, durable, waterproof, and comfortable, designed to tackle via ferratas, trekking, and technical high-altitude excursions with maximum protection. The upper is made of premium nubuck leather and integrates the GORE-TEX ePE Extended Comfort membrane, ensuring total waterproofing and excellent tear resistance while maintaining the breathability necessary for dry feet. Thanks to the 3D Flex Evo™ technology, the ankle is securely wrapped without limiting natural movements, preventing chafing and increasing agility on uneven terrain. Comfort is guaranteed by the 5 mm Ortholite® Hybrid™ Mountain Hiking insole and the cushioning EVA CM midsole, while the lacing system derived from approach models allows for a precise and enveloping fit. The Vibram Megagrip™ outsole with Impact Brake System™ technology and 4.5 mm lugs offers exceptional grip and superior traction both uphill and downhill. Characterized by an 8 mm drop and a heel height of 31 mm, these boots include Resole Platform™ inserts that allow for resoling for greater durability over time. Made with a strong commitment to sustainability, they use recycled materials for the lining, laces, webbing, and midsole components, making them an excellent technical choice for the most demanding female climbers.
