La Sportiva TX5 GTX are waterproof trekking boots designed for hikers with very heavy backpacks.
With TX5 you can venture out on any path and hike without fear or harm to your feet or wet feet: the soft Nubuck upper is in fact covered by a Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane that guarantees complete waterproofing.
The foot is then protected by a protective edge along the entire shoe and an anti-shock tip.
The boot has a collar high above the ankle that, in addition to protecting it and keeping it firmer, prevents stones and mud from entering inside the shoe. Don't think, though, that being a high shoe your ankle is forced inside: in fact, thanks to 3D Flex technology, there is a joint that makes it free in every movement.
The combination of an EVA foam midsole and stabilizing insole and a 4 mm Ortholite Approach insole makes the shoe extremely comfortable and suitable for even prolonged uses.
The sole, on the other hand, is a Vibram MegaGrip with Impact Brake System. The dowels therefore have a differentiated thickness depending on the area of support so as to ensure excellent uphill grip and instead hold the descent, all perfect for all types of terrain!
