LACD Defender RX climbing helmet
LACD Defender RX is an ultra-lightweight climbing helmet with in-mold construction, perfect for long routes, crag climbing, ice climbing, and mountaineering.
In size S/M, it weighs only 195 g, which is roughly the weight of two average quickdraws, about half the average weight of hardshell helmets. This weight reduction does not mean compromises in terms of safety, which remains at the highest levels. The same goes for comfort: while climbing, you won't even feel like you're wearing it.
Thanks to the Twis Lock system located at the back, you can adjust and fit it to your head using soft straps. The additional padding inside offers extra comfort and can be removed for cleaning. There are also generous ventilation openings on the sides and practical clips for attaching a headlamp.
