Description
The Taiss IN Hooded Jacket by Mammut is a technical insulating down jacket for men, ideal as a versatile thermal layer for mountaineering, ski touring, and hiking in cold conditions. This garment, with a regular fit, intelligently combines two types of insulation to maximize warmth and breathability: a water-repellent 850 cuin goose down is used on the body for exceptional thermal power, while a synthetic insulation of 80 g/m² is strategically placed on the shoulders, hood, and forearms, areas more exposed to moisture. The outer fabric is a recycled ripstop nylon, ultra-lightweight yet abrasion-resistant. The jacket features a YKK Vislon® double-slider front zipper, smooth and easy to use. Functionality is ensured by two zippered side pockets, compatible with a backpack and harness, one of which also serves as a stuff sack to fold the entire jacket. The adjustable hood with a single adjustment point and the pre-shaped cuffs enhance fit and protection from the elements.
