Ortovox Diract is an intuitive and compact avalanche locator ARTVA designed to make rescue activities fast and effective.
Diract is an extremely reliable product and thanks to the 3 available antennas, with Smart Antenna technology, it analyzes position data and automatically switches to the best transmission antenna. It therefore guarantees a stable and reliable signal right from the start.
The minimal and straightforward design allows for practical and intuitive use, as with a single button you can quickly mark avalanche victims or switch to standby mode. The post-avalanche protection automatically switches from Search and Standby mode to Transmission mode to ensure total protection for searchers. Even in difficult lighting conditions, the extra-large display is easy to read and provides intuitive guidance to the user even in stressful situations, thanks to clear indications and real-time 360° visualization.
The battery is low-temperature rechargeable, particularly durable and eco-friendly. Even at -20°C, it can reliably deliver power without discharging, unlike regular batteries.
There is also a free Ortovox app available for both Apple iOS and Android, which allows you to automatically update the software.
The transport system, included in the package, features a shoulder strap equipped with a Recco reflector, with a quick-release case that allows for fast extraction of the device in case of emergency.
